Ingram Publisher Services UK Signs Distributed Art Publishers, Inc.

August 1, 2023

LONDON, UK (August 1, 2023) - Ingram Publisher Services UK (“IPS UK”), an Ingram Content Group UK Ltd. brand, has signed New York-based Distributed Art Publishers, Inc. (“D.A.P.”) as a new client. Effective August 1st, 2023, IPS UK will provide UK and European distribution, sales, and marketing for D.A.P. which has emerged as the global leader in books on art and culture over the past three decades.

"We've worked closely with D.A.P. in the U.S. for many years and have had great success selling into other international markets through Two Rivers Distribution," said Meredith Greenhouse, Vice President, Ingram Publisher Services UK and Global Sales. "To bring their stunning books to a wider readership in the U.K. and Europe is a privilege."

D.A.P. founder Sharon Helgason Gallagher cites the efficiencies IPS UK can bring to the business of the export markets. "Having coordinated warehouses as well as one data source across many geographical markets will help us make better -- and faster -- supply decisions for our clients," Helgason Gallagher said. "Ingram has always been an honest, reliable, and helpful partner -- from the very early days of our business. Ingram's support over the last three decades has played an important role in our growth. We're pleased to expand the scope of our relationship."

Founded in 1990, D.A.P. promotes and sells exceptional books on art, photography, architecture, design, and avant-garde culture from the world's most prestigious imprints. Among D.A.P.'s long-time clients are museums such as the Guggenheim and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston; inventive independent publishers such as Siglio Press, Radius, Karma, and

J & L Books; and literary presses Exact Change and Wakefield Press. Artists and photographers represented include household names such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Frida Kahlo and Hayao Miyazaki.

Ingram Content Group’s IPS UK provides global book and ebook distribution underpinned by best-in-class technology. The company's comprehensive network, combined with an integrated sales and marketing offering, helps its clients' titles reach booksellers, libraries, and online retailers worldwide. Other client publishers signing this year for services with IPS UK, which continues to invest heavily in worldwide book distribution, include World Scientific Publishing, Aeon Books and Unicorn Publishing Group.
