iCurate® Complimentary Spotlight: Awards Standing Order Program

When major book awards are announced, librarians find themselves scrambling to find a list of the winning titles and to order copies for their collections. Did you know that Ingram can make that process easier for you? Our Awards*Notables standing order program allows librarians to sign up to receive a list of titles that have won specific awards delivered to their ipage account, saving the time it would take to track down the awards lists and search for the titles in ipage.

If this time-saving hack seems like it will make your work a little easier, you can sign up in ipage by clicking Orders and selecting Standing Order Programs. From there, click on Awards*Notables. Create your enrollment and select the awards for which you would like to receive lists. Then, when the awards are announced, you will receive a list of the winning books to review and place your orders.

We strongly recommend using the Report Only option for all awards that you select. Because these titles have already been published, you will probably already own some of them. Report-only lists allow you to receive the lists without any commitment. You can review the lists, decide which titles you want to order, and place your orders using your usual order method.
