Berkely, CA (September 12, 2022) – Ingram Content Group announces today that West Margin Press, an Ingram Content Group Publisher Services brand, will begin making large-print content available through its Mint Editions imprint by working with UK-based Ulverscroft Ltd. Mint Editions has converted a curated list of its classic and vintage literature titles to large print format which will be distributed to libraries globally by Ulverscroft, the largest UK-based supplier of large print and audiobooks.
“We’re very happy to be making the Mint Editions collection available in this format,” said David Taylor, Senior Vice President, Ingram Content Group UK. “Print on demand is a wonderful solution to the challenge of making paper books available in a format that can be read by the visually and print impaired. One copy at a time can be made when needed, thus opening the door for a variety of large print content via our catalogue, at very little risk for our customers.”
“Classics are the foundation of any strong library collection and West Margin Press’ work in reviving iconic stories is to be admired. We are excited to be able to bring West Margin Press’ Mint Editions to our large print customers around the world,” said Michele Petty, Managing Director at Ulverscroft.
Mint Editions, published by West Margin Press, was founded with the intention of creating cleanly designed, collectible versions of important literary works and has now expanded to an imprint of discovery. With the goal of bringing life back to timeless literary works and provoking new conversations about how these works continue to shape our lives today, Mint Editions presents fiction, memoir, essays, poetry, and more in formats for the modern reader. In addition to large print availability with Ulverscroft, Mint Edition’s titles are available now in all formats on iPage, and globally via Lightning Source’s 39,000 virtual channel partners. Further titles will be converted to large print for distribution with Ulverscroft in the coming months.
