Ingram Content Group Expands Worldwide Reach with Two New  Global Connect Distribution Hubs: Singapore and South Africa

October 17, 2024

NASHVILLE, TENN (October 17, 2024) – Ingram Content Group’s (“Ingram”) Global Connect® program expands even further with the launch of two new print-on-demand distribution hubs: South Africa and Singapore. These two new locations complement Ingram’s existing reach from the USA, UK, Australia, France, Sharjah, and nine other global markets currently a part of the Global Connect program.

“I am thrilled with the additions of ‘Markono’ Singapore and ‘Print-on-Demand’ South Africa to Global Connect,” says Julian Sandell, Ingram Content Group’s Global Business Develop Manager. “By expanding into these countries, not only do we broaden the geographical reach of our program, but they strengthen our ability to provide readers worldwide direct access to an extensive catalog of titles. Publishers can now access readers in Singapore and South Africa with their titles, without having to ship stock overseas, with local print-on-demand fulfilment.”

Ingram’s Global Connect helps publishers of all sizes reach more countries by using local Print-on-Demand (“POD”) printers who have established relationships with sales channels in their markets. Through Global Connect, distributors use POD technology to fulfill demand, helping ensure books are supplied closer to both the reader and bookseller. Publishers from 97 countries and regions have joined Global Connect. Covering nearly 50% of the world’s population, Global Connect reaches more booksellers worldwide getting more books into the hands of more readers.

Singapore and South Africa join nine other Global Connect locations that include Brazil, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Poland, South Korea and Spain. Publishers interested in Ingram’s Global Connect program should visit here.
