Will I receive a new account number?
No, your existing Lightning Source UK account number will be used for your new Ingram Wholesale UK (IWUK) account.
Will my account change from Lightning Source to Ingram Wholesale UK (IWUK) immediately on 6 February 2023?
No, it will take a short period of time to complete the account transition. This means there will be a small window of time where you will not be able to submit orders to either Lightning Source UK or Ingram Wholesale UK.
The last date to submit orders to Lightning Source UK will be on 3 February 2023. You will be able to view and agree to the new Ingram Wholesale UK agreement on 6 February 2023. At that point you will be able to begin placing orders for Ingram Wholesale UK on ipage.
Will ipage order history and tracking for previous Lightning Source UK orders remain visible on ipage?
Yes, even after your account has fully transitioned to Ingram Wholesale UK any previous order and tracking history for your Lightning Source UK orders will continue to be visible in ipage.
Will there be any shipping/postage fees for orders from Ingram Wholesale UK?
Shipments of 10 units or more will qualify for free freight when shipping to a UK address. Shipments of less than 10 units (9 or less) will incur a flat freight charge of £6.00.
Will there be any changes to my invoice/payment terms?
No, no changes are being made to your payment terms. However, invoices for IWUK orders will need to be remitted to a new bank. Any invoices from Lighting Source UK will need to be paid to the current bank account.
Since it is possible some Lightning Source UK orders will be processing during this transition you may see invoices from both Lightning Source UK and Ingram Wholesale UK for a short period of time. The PDF invoice will clearly note which entity the invoice is from.
Additional information on payment details and instructions will be sent shortly after the transition to Ingram Wholesale UK.
Do I need to follow a new process/steps to place Ingram Wholesale UK orders on ipage?
No, the process to place orders on ipage will remain the same. Simply be sure to select the GBP (£) when adding items to your basket.
Can Ingram Wholesale UK ship to addresses outside of the UK?
At the moment, Ingram Wholesale UK can only ship to UK addresses. However, we are working on shipping options into Europe and other countries so expect more details to come.
Will I be able to place Direct-to-Home dropship orders out of Ingram Wholesale UK?
At the moment, it will not be possible to place Direct-to-Home orders to ship out of Ingram Wholesale UK. However, we are working on adding this feature so expect more details to come.
What carrier are you using for deliveries?
IWUK will determine the best shipping method based on the delivery location.
